The simple rules for using CyberSecQuiz — what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These terms cover your use of CyberSecQuiz (the "Service"), including the free cyber security test. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
CyberSecQuiz is a free, educational personal cyber security test. You answer 17 scenario-based questions and receive a score out of 100, a risk level, a strong-vs-exposed breakdown, and a personalized 4-week action plan at your own private results link.
It's a helpful starting point, not professional advice. The Service is not a penetration test, device scan, breach lookup, certification exam (CompTIA, CISSP), or legal compliance audit. It measures your everyday security judgment — how you handle phishing, passwords, privacy, AI tools, and similar situations.
No tool can make you "impossible to hack," and we don't claim to. The Service is provided "as is" and helps you understand and reduce risk — it cannot guarantee that you won't experience a security incident. You're responsible for the actions you take (or don't take) based on your results.
When you finish the assessment, your results open at a unique, private link. You're responsible for keeping that link private — anyone who has it can view that report. Let us know if you believe your link has been shared or exposed and we'll help.
The quiz is currently free. If we introduce paid features in the future, payments will be processed by Stripe. Prices will be shown at checkout.
If a paid product didn't deliver what was described, email hello@cybersecquiz.com and we'll make it right. [Set your specific refund window and conditions here — for example, a 14-day money-back guarantee on the Full Report — and have your legal advisor confirm it.]
When using the Service, please don't:
The Service, its content, and its branding belong to CyberSecQuiz. Your report is yours to use for your own personal online safety; the underlying quiz, questions, and scoring remain ours.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, CyberSecQuiz is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
Your report and this site may link to third-party tools and resources. We share them to be helpful, but we're not responsible for their content or practices.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post changes here and update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of [your U.S. state], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Confirm the correct jurisdiction with your legal advisor.]
